Located west of Senoia, Georgia on Highway 16 in a rural and quite quaint setting, our tuition-free public charter school presently educates students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Parents choose this educational setting for their children because of the rigorous curriculum and high academic standards for all students. The staff, parents, and community understand that CCA is about the students and high student achievement. There is a strong dedication among the leadership, staff, parents, and community to support this view.

Personalized Learning Plans
Important Policies and Services information

Personalized Learning Plans

Personalized Learning Plans – Assessments are performed periodically to determine how your child will learn best. Learning styles are established to tailor lesson plans to meet the needs of each student.
Access to Infinite Campus’ Student Information System – Parents are given access to their children’s personal information through a password-protected computer-based system that allows them to monitor their progress. Parents can monitor test scores, homework, and attendance on a daily basis.
Spanish is offered to all students K-8th grade – K-4th grade students receive Spanish instruction once per week. Grades 5th through 8th are offered Spanish as an elective.
Art, Music, Band, P.E., and Computer Science Elective Classes – Kindergarten through 4th grade students participate in different electives 45-50 minutes per day in rotation to allow them the opportunity to explore many different areas of interest. 5th through 8th grade students are provided two elective periods per day.
Recess – Kindergarten through 5th grade students are provided recess daily. 6th through 8th grade students are provided 30 minute walk and talk free period after lunch.
Field Trips/Enrichment Assemblies – Students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade will be offered at least two field trips and/or enrichment assemblies per school year. Younger grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade may be provided enrichment assemblies in lieu of off-site field trips (we bring the field trip on-site).
Gifted Education provided for qualifying students. – Qualifying students in K through 8th grade are offered gifted enrichment. Please refer to our gifted page for more details.
High School credits offered for qualifying 8th grade students – Qualifying students in 8th grade may elect to take Physical Science, 9th Grade Literature, Algebra I, and/or Spanish I for high school course credits.

Enforced Uniform Policy – A school uniform policy is enforced. School uniforms must be purchased exclusively from a Coweta Charter Academy-approved vendor only. School uniforms instill a sense of pride in the school as well as each child’s individual appearance. Uniforms allow students to focus on their education instead of designer labels and fashion trends. More information about uniforms and uniform vendors can be found under our parent tab.
Enforced No Cell Phones Policy – Cell phones take away from valuable instructional time and create an unnecessary distraction, therefore they are not allowed to be turned on and/or used at any time during the school day.
Enforced No Smart Watches Policy – Smart Watches take away from valuable instructional time, create an unnecessary distraction, and call testing integrity into question, therefore they are not allowed to be brought to school and are strictly banned on school property.
