While Title 1, Part A under the ESEA Act of 1965 has many requirements, there is a strong emphasis on parental notification and involvement to provide considerable and meaningful opportunities to participate in the education of their children. Each school that receives funds under this part shall develop jointly with, agree on with, and distribute to parents and family members of participating children a written parental and family involvement policy. Below you will find a list of CCA’s jointly developed documents and more.
The Parent and Family Involvement Policy establishes CCA’s expectations for parental involvement and explains how the school plans to meet requirements under Title 1, Part A.
The Title 1 Targeted Assistance Plan is a plan created to provide all students identified and served in the targeted assistance program the opportunity to meet the state’s challenging student academic achievement standards.
The School-Parent Compact is an agreement that outlines how parents, the school staff, and students will share the responsibility for improving student academic achievement and the means by which the school and parents will build and develop partnerships to help children achieve the state’s high standards.
