About Lotterease
Coweta Charter Academy uses a third-party system, Lotterease, to run our enrollment lottery to ensure transparency and fairness. Since Lotterease is an independent system, school staff do not have the ability to manipulate or adjust the lottery outcome. In addition, all activity that takes place with your application is tracked in a history log that you can view at any time by logging into the Lotterease parent portal.
After our open registration period closes, all applications in Lotterease are updated. At that time, you will receive emails from Coweta_Charter@lotterease.com notifying you that an account has been created and that your child(ren) and were entered into the lottery.
You will be able to login to your account and change the password once it is created. Keep your login information to use this same account to apply for Coweta Charter Academy for future years.. Login here: https://www.lotterease.com/parent_login.html?account_id=1078
NOTE: Please be sure to add Coweta_Charter@lotterease.com as an email contact to ensure important emails do not go to spam.
Transparent and Fair
When you see the Lotterease Seal on a school website, you can be confident that your application will be included in the school lottery in a fair and transparent way.
That is because Lotterease is an independent automated lottery system that the school uses to manage their lottery and waitlist. Since Lotterease is an independent system, the school staff do not have the ability to manipulate or adjust the lottery outcome. They must work within the requirements of the system.
In addition, all activity that takes place with your application is tracked in a history log that you can view at any time by logging into the parent portal.
If the school you want your child to attend displays the Lotterease Seal of Transparency and Fairness, you can rest assured that you child will get their fair chance to attend the school.

Home Language Survey
Section 3111(b)(2)(A) of ESEA/ESSA's Title III statute requires states to establish uniform statewide entrance and exit procedures for the identification of English learners (ELs) The first step in this process is to identify potential ELs for English language proficiency (ELP) screening. For this purpose, Georgia provides a required Home Language Survey (HLS) in 20 language versions for school systems to use during enrollment processes. Parents' responses on the HLS indicate whether the student is a potential English learner who must be administered the ELP screener.
