Before & After Care

Before and After School programs are available onsite. During After School Program, student complete homework, have a snack, play outside, and do different arts & crafts and games. We make every effort to ensure that your student has a safe and enjoyable experience while in our care.

Before Care hours are 6:45 am – 7:30 am
After Care hours are 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Program Enrollment

Leading up to and during the school year, a one-week notice is preferred before a student is enrolled into our program. Due to limited space, acceptance into the program will be on a first come – first serve basis. To secure a spot in the Before/Aftercare program a registration form along with your $35.00 registration fee per student must be submitted to the school. All Student accounts must be in good standing (Cafe, car tags, etc.) before a student is accepted into the program. CCA reserves the right to deny admittance to any student. CCA will dismiss from the program any student who endangers the safety of our students. Each school year a new registration and enrollment fee per student must be paid. Registration fees are non- refundable.

Program Withdrawal

Hours and Days of Operation

The before school program opens at 6:30 am each morning. Please do Not drop off your students before 6:30 am. Students are dismissed from the program at 7:30 am to their assigned classrooms or to the cafe for breakfast.

The After School program begins at dismissal and ends promptly at 6:00 pm. each evening. The after-school program does provide a daily snack to students in attendance.

Both programs are only offered on regular school days, during posted student hours. We are closed on scheduled school holidays and on emergency canceled school days. *Note: on days when school is delayed or canceled due to inclement weather or an emergency, Before/After School will be CANCELED. Please make sure your current contact information is updated in Infinite Campus so that you may be reached.

Discipline

CCA provides a safe environment to all students who are enrolled in the Before/After school care program at CCA, students are expected to follow the expectations of the CCA code of conduct, and all discipline guidelines outlined in the Parent-Student Handbook. It Is expected of all employees and students that mutual respect is given. CCA strives to provide students activities during their time in afterschool care.

We will follow all the regular school discipline guidelines. We will not allow running indoors, destruction of equipment, inappropriate language, disrespect towards adults, harm to others, etc. Disrespect, defiance, disruptive and inappropriate behavior will be dealt with immediately.
A Student will be considered for dismissal from the program for inappropriate behavior at any time, at the discretion of school Administration or the Before/After Director.
Incidences of inappropriate behavior will be given to the parent in writing.
Attendance is a privilege based upon adhering to the school rules.
Any students that receive three disciplinary notices WILL be dismissed from the program.

Drop Off/Pick Up

In the morning drop-off occurs through the cafeteria entrance. Each Student needs to sign in with the Staff member on duty.
In the evening pick-up occurs at the cafeteria . Each Student needs to sign out with the Staff member on duty.
Students must be signed out daily by an adult listed on the aftercare registration form. We will NOT allow your student to leave with anyone unless they are on our authorized pickup list. Please note: the adult that is picking up the student needs to have a picture ID and present it to the staff member on duty. In
instances when it is necessary for someone different to pick up your student, a signed note from the parent, or an email from the parent/guardian verifiable
email address, is required. Please have the note to us before or on the day that arrangements are different. This person should still be listed as an authorized
pickup for your student in Infinite Campus. Parents must pick up students no later than 6:00p.m. We will strictly enforce the following policy: Students who
are not picked up by 6:00 pm will be charged a $15 minimum. If this becomes a recurring problem. We will notify you in writing, and your student will be
withdrawn from the program.

Payments

Please read carefully.

There is a required annual registration fee of $35 per school year for each student.
The weekly fee for “Before School” is $30 per student.
The weekly fee for “After School” is $80 per student.
Payment options include credit card payments, cash, or check. There will be a return check fee of $35 for all NSF checks. NOTE: You are liable for these fees and court action may be taken if the account is not paid.

Final payments are due no later than Friday by 10:00 pm

Non-Payment and past due accounts will result in dismissal from the program.
Students who are not picked up by 6:00 pm. will be charged $15 per 15 minutes, per student.
Payment for the entire week is required whether your student attend all days of the entire week or not.
If your student is absent from school, you must still pay for the before and after school care for the entire week or not.
If you would like your credit card automatically billed each week, please the Before/Aftercare Director to receive a Recurring Credit Card Authorization Form.
CCA offers a daily “Drop In” rate of $25. You must first pay the $35 Registration Fee. The $25 fee will be charged each time your student attends.
Parents will not be charged a fee for full calendar weeks in which no school is scheduled. Typically, this includes the following weeks: the calendar week that Thanksgiving falls within, full calendar weeks school is not in session for Winter Holidays, and the calendar week of Spring Break.

ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Important Information:

You, the parents, are responsible for keeping receipts and canceled checks. Statements will not be issued by the CCA Summer Program for tax purposes. For your information, the Coweta Charter Academy Tax ID# is 27-0453195

Emergencies

Should there be an emergency involving your student, we will follow normal school emergency procedures. If your student is injured seriously, we will apply first aid, call 911, and contact you.

Be sure to keep us updated as to changes in phone numbers, emergency contacts, and any other pertinent information so that we may contact you in the event of an emergency. You may update this information via Infinite Campus Parent Portal under “More”, “Family Information".

Lost or Stolen Items

The Summer Camp staff is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items that your student brings to the program. We encourage that all the student’s belongings be labeled with his/her name. We ask that students not bring any toys from home. Cell phones are not allowed. The students will have a designated place to store bags and personal belongings each day. This is the safest place for them to be.
