Character/Citizenship

State law mandates that each school implement a comprehensive character education program for levels K-12. This program focuses on student development of the following character traits: courage, patriotism, citizenship, honesty, fairness, respect for others, kindness, cooperation, self-respect, self- control, courtesy, compassion, tolerance, diligence, generosity, punctuality, cleanliness, cheerfulness, school pride, respect for the environment, respect for the creator, patience, creativity, sportsmanship, loyalty, perseverance, and virtue.

While at CCA, students are expected to demonstrate superior character and citizenship traits. We encourage students to make wise choices and to do the right thing and, if needed, seek the assistance of staff members when a troublesome situation arises.
