Parent-Student-Teacher Conferences
CCA will implement TWO Parent/Teacher Conferences during the year.
At this time, all parent/teacher academic conferences may be held in person, virtually, or via conference call. Parents are expected to check Canvas regularly to monitor student progress.
All parents of CCA students will meet with their child’s teacher at least twice during the school year. Parent Teacher Conferences are designed to provide an update for parents on the current progress of their child, review academic goals, as well as the opportunity to discuss areas of strength and
opportunities for growth. CCA administration encourages you to have conferences more often and as needed, as effective communication is one of the cornerstones of education.
CCA will have two designated Conference opportunities September/October and January/February. A third conference opportunity in March/April will be offered for students in academic jeopardy for retention. Teachers will provide parents with opportunities to sign up for schedules during teacher planning, before or after school and on scheduled conference days. We encourage students to be active participants in these conferences. Conferences to discuss placement may be required.
