Academic Bowl
Coweta Charter Academy (CCA) is proud to have the opportunity for our students to compete with other schools in academic quiz competitions. CCA has both elementary academic bowl and middle school. Academic bowls are designed to promote growth in learning and encourage students to explore other subjects and fields of study that are new to them.
World Languages
Spanish is offered as a “specials” class once a week in grades K-5 and as an elective in 6-8. The focus of the world language program is learning about the language in the areas of communication, culture and community. Students develop conversational and written skills, as well as formal language skills, required for living in a diverse environment. Through studying literature, song, dance, food and other aspects of culture, students will build an understanding of the relationship between the different perspectives and products of various cultures. Application of this knowledge will afford students the ability to recognize cultural practices and the uniqueness of various communities. 8th Grade students also have the option to take 9th Grade Spanish (if qualified).
